1. The Competition

Nathan Jewellers Pty Ltd ("the Promoter") conducts a fortnightly jewellery guessing competition ("the Competition").
The Competition runs for two weeks (14 days) per round.
A new Competition with a fresh challenge begins automatically when the previous round ends.
Each round features a rotating game type: "Guess the Diamonds in the Jar", "Guess the Carat Weight", "Guess the Price", or "Count the Gemstones".
This is a game of skill, not a game of chance — no gaming licence is required.

2. Computer-Generated Answer

The correct answer for each fortnight's competition is randomly generated by a computer system at the time the competition is created.
No person — including the owner, staff, or any employee of Nathan Jewellers — knows the correct answer until the competition closes and the winner is determined.
The computer-generated answer is securely stored and cannot be accessed, viewed, or modified by anyone prior to the competition closing.
This ensures complete fairness and transparency for all entrants.
No hints are provided. All entrants compete on equal footing with no additional clues or assistance.

3. Eligibility

Open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over only.
Entrants must provide a valid Australian residential address — international entries are not accepted.
Entrants must provide a valid date of birth to verify age eligibility.
Employees and immediate family members of Nathan Jewellers are not eligible.
Both new and existing customers of Nathan Jewellers may enter.
One (1) entry per person per competition round, identified by a unique email address.

4. How to Enter

Complete the entry form on our website with all required details: full name, email, date of birth, Australian postal address, and your guess.
Entries are limited to 200 per round. Once 200 entries are received, the Competition closes for that round — so get in quick!
The competition can only end once all 200 spots are filled. There is no early closure for any other reason.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Entries cannot be altered or withdrawn once submitted.
All personal information is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Winner Selection

The winner is the entrant whose guess is the exact correct answer or closest to the correct answer.
Duplicate Guess Rule: If two or more entrants submit the same guess, the entrant who submitted their entry first (earliest timestamp) will be declared the winner. This means all 200 spots still get filled — speed matters!
The winner will be determined within 48 hours of all 200 entries being received.
The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prizes

Each week's prize is a surprise gift valued at over $100 AUD (retail value).
The prize is not revealed until the winner is announced — it's a surprise! 🎁
Prizes rotate each round and may include: fine jewellery pieces, Nathan Jewellers gift vouchers, NRL match tickets, Westfield gift cards, movie voucher packages, bowling experiences, restaurant dining vouchers, spa & pamper vouchers, premium coffee hampers, tech accessories, luxury skincare sets, or mystery gift boxes.
The specific prize each week is at the sole discretion of Nathan Jewellers.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
The prize will be posted or delivered to the winner's registered Australian address within 14 business days of winner announcement.

7. Winner Announcement & Obligations

The winner will be announced on Nathan Jewellers' official Instagram account @nathanjewellers.
The winner will also be notified via email to the address provided at entry.
The winner must respond within 7 days of notification or forfeit the prize.
Winners are required to:
- Comment on the winner announcement on Instagram (if they have an account).
- Send a photo of themselves with the prize upon receipt.
- Share a post on their Instagram or Nathan Jewellers' Instagram showing the prize.

8. Communication

By entering, you consent to receiving competition reminders and promotional communications from Nathan Jewellers.
You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
Your details will be added to our customer database for communication about competitions, promotions, and events.

9. Content & Photography

By entering, you grant Nathan Jewellers permission to use your name, suburb, and any submitted photos for marketing purposes including social media, website, and promotional material.
Winner photos may be shared on @nathanjewellers social media channels.

10. General Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition at any time without notice.
Any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or not in accordance with these terms will be disqualified.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or connected to this Competition.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
This Competition is a game of skill. Each entry is judged on the accuracy of the guess. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

11. Privacy & Data

Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy.
Your data will not be sold to third parties.
Data is stored securely and used solely for competition administration, prize delivery, and marketing communications you have consented to.
